Thanksgiving 2008

We shared a really nice Thanksgiving with The Leuthold's & Mimi.  We are all so thankful to be together and shared some quality time together.  Don had the turkey in a brine for 2 days & boy did it turn out GOOD! The kids enjoyed each others company and played really well together - the only fights were between siblings - go figure.  The boys played outside all afternoon and enjoyed cutting up grapefruits with their plastic army knife and plastic screw driver, they thought they were really something!  Although Taylor wasn't too thrilled that her grapefruits- oh I mean "lemons" - were all cut up, but she took the news fairly well.  On Friday Mimi took the kids & me to see "BOLT" in 3-D! (The big boys played golf & Laura stayed with Abby)  The movie was pretty cool.  Luke had a hard time keeping his 3-D glasses on his little peanut head, but he had popcorn so he didn't complain.  Altogether we had a good Thanksgiving!..........  Oh I almost forgot the girls beat the boys in 'Catch Phrase'!
